Advocacy
AAFT protects and promotes advertising at all levels of government through grassroots activities. The nationwide network of AAF members monitors advertising-related legislation on local, state and federal levels. We put our members face-to-face with influential lawmakers, and encourage self-regulation as a pre-emptor to government intervention, when appropriate.

Addys: The World’s Largest Advertising Competition
The Addy® Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media. National or regional judges are flown in to pick the winners. Winners at the local level go on to compete for a Gold Addy at Nationals. The Addy Gala and local Addy Awards is usually held in March of each year.
Silver Medal Award
The AAF-Tallahassee Silver Medal Award Program was established in 1959 to recognize men and women who have made outstanding contributions to advertising and who have been active in furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern. Annually, AAF member clubs bestow this honor upon outstanding members of their local advertising community.
